Following the sell-out success of the first Greggs x Primark fashion collection earlier this year, the high street brands have teamed up again this summer for a new range.

The new 21-piece collection Greggs x Primark festival collection will feature new items including cycle shorts, bodysuits, basketball jerseys, varsity jackets and footwear.

The fashion giant and the bakery chain’s first-of-its-kind limited edition 11-piece collection launched back in early February and sold out within days, only to appear on eBay for seven times the price.

The hype around the eccentric collection was so hugely popular that in places such as Newcastle and Hull, shoppers queued around the street and wiped the aisles clean within 24 hours.

Greggs and Primark are launching a second fashion collection after the huge success of their debut range earlier this year

The new 21-piece collection has been designed to get the nation festival-ready and features everything you need to be on trend this summer

And those who missed out engaged in eBay bidding wars for some of the most sought-after items including the Greggs trainers, with some items selling for more than seven times their original price on the site.

If you look on eBay today you can get your hands on the first collection’s original trackies and hoodies for as much as £97.

The second collection will see the return of popular items from the first collection including the Greggs bucket hat and sausage roll boxer shorts.

Sausage roll lovers who are keen to take their festival attire to a new level, can accessories with bumbags and sliders.

Greggs isn’t the only unexpected high street name making waves in retail – Aldi’s beauty and makeup range which has been available since 2002, has recently gone viral on platforms such as TikTok, with some videos reaching over 17,000 likes and some products coming in and out of stock quickly.

The budget supermarket launched its clothing range, ALDImania, last year, which saw a similar hype to that of Greggs x Primark.

The ALDImania hoodie, which originally retailed at £14.99, is now available on eBay for £40.

Aldi’s counterpart Lidl also became an overnight fashion sensation when it launched its own brand clothes last year.

To celebrate the launch and give fans early access, Greggs and Primark will be launching the collection with a limited pre-sale of selected items and mini festival experience

Also, highly sought after, there were pictures of one customer piling the conveyor belt full of £12.99 trainers.

Lidl beats Greggs and Aldi on the eBay war by miles, with these hugely popular trainers being sold for as much as £1,299.00.

To celebrate the launch and give fans early access, Greggs and Primark will be launching the collection with a limited pre-sale of selected items and mini festival experience via the ‘Snackfest’ bus in five locations.

The exclusive range, which is the latest in a long line of collaborations for Primark, including its sell-out range of Hellfire Club t-shirts, in conjunction with Netflix Stranger Things.

Hannah Squirrell, Customer Director at Greggs said: ‘The reaction to our first official Greggs clothing collection was incredible and sold out even faster than we anticipated.

‘We’re excited to team up with Primark once again to deliver more fun and unique pieces that Greggs fans will wear with pride across the summer and beyond.’

Jermaine Lapwood, Head of Innovation and Future Trends at Primark said: ‘I believe the best partnerships in fashion are those that are blindingly obvious but never boring or predictable.

‘In a world of collaborations, it is important that we stand out and be different.

‘As part of this drop, for the first time in Primark history we are taking the collection on the road and fans will be able to get early access to our own ‘SNACKFEST’ tour bus which will pop up across the UK.

‘Keep a look out for some top secret special guest performances and fun competitions.’
